My Philosophy of Life
I strongly believe in the Buddhist doctrine of simple living and moderation. As meditation is central to one’s peace of mind and because it promotes good mental health, I meditate for thirty minutes each day. I have been fortunate to visit meditation centers around the world, and my favorite place is the Achancha mediation center in Perth, Australia. Buddhism teaches us not to kill or cause harm to other beings, including animals. As a strict vegetarian, I honor this Buddhist principle.
